What this website collects
- The site is made of static pages served from Cloudflare’s network.
- We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which measures visits without cookies and without tracking or identifying individual people.
- We do not embed third-party content that sets tracking cookies, so there are no advertising, social media or video tracking widgets.
- The site has no login and no contact form. Links to email us open your own email app, so we collect nothing until you choose to send a message.
When you email us
If you email one of our addresses, we receive your message and contact details and use them only to deal with your enquiry. We keep that correspondence for as long as we need it for the matter you raised, and no longer.
Members and volunteers
Personal data about our young people, parents and volunteers is not held on this public website. It is held in Online Scout Manager (OSM) and managed under The Scouts Association’s Data Protection Policy, which sets out what is collected, why, and how it is kept safe.
Your rights
You can ask what personal data we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, and object to how we use it. Email contact@63rdbristolscouts.org.uk and we will help. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
