Beavers
Games, crafts and simple challenges for our youngest section, with the odd sleepover along the way.
What a typical evening looks like
Beaver Colony nights last an hour, with an opening ceremony, two or three activities and a game before home time. Some weeks we’re outside, some weeks we’re crafting at the table, and a few times a year we get away on a trip together.
What Beavers do
- Make new friends across school years
- Try things they have not tried before, from cooking to nature trails
- Earn badges that show what they have learned
- Go to their first Scouting events, from sleepovers to district fun days
Meeting time and place
Beavers meet at the Scout Hut on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, starting at 5pm.
Uniform: Beavers wear a turquoise jumper and a 63rd Bristol scarf. Scarves are issued at investiture; jumpers are available from the Scout Store.
Joining Beavers
